Ahmad A. Hujeirat earned his Master’s degree from the Technion in Haifa and received his PhD in Applied Mathematics from Heidelberg University. He subsequently completed his habilitation in Physics at the University of Basel and in Astronomy at Heidelberg University.
Since 2011, he has been a Senior Researcher and head of the Computational Astrophysics (CAAD) Group at the Interdisciplinary Center for Scientific Computing (IWR) at Heidelberg University. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco, and at An-Najah National University in Nablus, Palestine.
Throughout his academic career, he has been active as a visiting researcher and collaborator at numerous renowned institutions worldwide, including the Meudon Observatory in Paris, universities in Lyon and Strasbourg, Queen Mary University of London, MIT and the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) in Boston, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the Technion in Haifa, Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) in Oman, KAUST in Saudi Arabia, the National University of Singapore (NUS), and the National Astronomical Observatories of China (NAOC) in Beijing
